Be amazed by the Tympanum, a hydraulic machine unique in France, restored and inaugurated in 2024. Located in the industrial heart of the saltworks, this installation bears witness to the region’s rich salt-making past.

The centerpiece of the Pesquiers hydraulic network, built to the north of the salt marshes, it plays an essential role in local industrial history.

A not-to-be-missed opportunity to immerse yourself in the heritage of the salt industry!
