An incomparable experience
Enter an artistic odyssey where the soul is carried away by art and nature. Under a roof of glass and water, the works of art blend into the scenery as the elements change. In this way, 2,000 square metres of exhibition space become the theater of human creativity.
A dialogue between art and nature
Surrounding the foundation, a 15-hectare park, designed by landscape architect Louis Benech, is home to some fifteen sculptures resulting from specific commissions or artist residencies on the island. They all aim to be a link between the surrounding nature and the Villa that houses the Foundation.
Throughout its opening season, the Fondation Carmignac offers a wide range of cultural and artistic activities, including open-air cinema screenings and creative workshops. The foundation is also behind the Carmignac Photojournalism Prize.
Gourmet break in the pine forest
To prolong the pleasure of your visit, you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant Le Poisson ivre or the refreshment bar L’Oliveraie. A subtle blend of Mediterranean flavors and fresh local produce, the menu evolves with the seasons and the chefs’ inspirations. The privileged location of this restaurant, under the tall pine trees, is a showcase for its friendly atmosphere.

Exhibition 2026
From April 25 to November 1, 2026, the Carmignac Foundation presents the exhibition “Sea, Pop and Sun,” curated by Dieter Buchhart and Anna Karina Hofbauer.
Sea, Pop & Sun is a vibrant ode to the freedom and vitality of the 1960s and 1970s, evoking the spirit of Pop Art. At Villa Carmignac, nestled between the pine trees and the sea, a sunny, sensual, and dreamy form of Pop Art unfolds, one that continues to radiate its electric and exhilarating energy to this day.
How do I get to the Fondation Carmignac?
The island of Porquerolles is accessible by boat, and visitors can get around on foot or by bike. Villa Carmignac is located on the Courtade site, 10 minutes’ walk from the port and village.
