The experience
The Mémorial du Débarquement et de la Libération en Provence offers a guided urban stroll through Toulon city center. Led by mediators, this tour invites you to explore the events surrounding the liberation of the city in August 1944.

Along the way, you'll discover the places marked by the fighting and the testimonies of combatants, resistance fighters and local residents. Monuments, squares and buildings take on a historical dimension, providing a better understanding of the traces left in the urban landscape.
