The Mémorial du Débarquement et de la Libération en Provence invites you on a memorial walk on Mont Faron, the emblematic site overlooking Toulon.
Accompanied by a mediator, you'll explore a site marked by the history of the Second World War and the city's Liberation. As you make your way along the trail, you'll hear stories about the events, places and people who shaped the memory of the Faron, while placing them in their historical context.
The walk also offers an insight into the landscape and the site's defensive architecture. It offers a time for discovery and reflection, between local memory and national history.
