The experience on offer

After more than 40 years of disuse, the Pradeau Battery, also known as Tour Fondue, has been reborn as an interpretation center for the Port-Cros National Park. Built in the 17th century, this iconic historic monument has been completely restored and refurbished.
The self-guided tour allows visitors to explore the various spaces at their own pace: the cabinet of curiosities, exhibition halls, digital and audio immersive experiences, and a panoramic observation deck. The permanent exhibition *Making the Invisible Visible* highlights the region’s flora, fauna, geology, and cultural heritage.
Submerged heritage, hidden sites, traditional craftsmanship, and human memories are revealed along the way, offering a complete sensory experience accessible to all.
