Mount Faron

A 360° experience

Mount Faron: the star of Toulon’s mountains

Toulon was built between sea and hills. The most famous of these, Mount Faron, dominates the harbor with its 584 meters of limestone and pine forests. Its distinctive feature is the cable car, which takes you to the summit in just a few minutes. An unspoilt natural rampart, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of Toulon, the Mediterranean and the Var hinterland. A major historical site, with the D-Day memorial in Provence, Mount Faron is also the scene of sporting activities and nature walks, a haven of peace and escape above the city.
