Wine cruise in Toulon harbour

We’re offering you an exclusive opportunity to embark on a sunset wine cruise in the fabulous Toulon harbor.

Whether you’re familiar with Toulon’s harbor, or have never had the chance to discover it on a guided tour, the wine cruise promises to take you on a journey through unique landscapes and flavors, as the sun sets.

Departing from Toulon harbor in the early evening, you board your boat. Weigh anchor for a sunset tour of the harbor, skirting the naval base and the fortifications of the Tour Royale, Fort Balaguier and Fort de l’Eguillette, all of which bear witness to the maritime history of the first port of the Levant.

Toulon mountains, Moorish villas and fishermen’s huts: the sublime setting for an enchanting evening.

The view of the Toulon mountains from the sea is panoramic and sensational: a mixture of limestone rock and pine forests, the mountains surround the harbor with a benevolent presence. As you turn your gaze eastwards, you’ll discover the relief of the coves that criss-cross the coastline from Toulon to Le Pradet, with the Oursinières in the distance.

The cruise leaves the waters of Toulon’s harbor to reach the Bay of Tamaris (also in the harbor), located in the commune of La Seyne-sur-Mer. The little port of Saint-Mandrier in the distance, the Moorish villas of the Corniche Michel Pacha and the mussel and fish-farming huts on stilts will arouse your curiosity. The history of the harbor is rich and not only linked to the naval industry.

A cruise in the Toulon harbor for a taste of authentic local produce

On board, in addition to live commentary by the captain of your boat, we will give you a boxed aperitif signed “Les Toqués”, consisting of 3 salty and 2 sweet bites:

• 1 pissaladière
• 1 mini chausson frita
• 1 small muffin with local olives
• 1 chocolate cookie
• 1 apple tart or 1 lemon cake (Six-Fours-les-Plages lemons)

Carefully selected local wines are available to accompany your meal. Each week, a different winery is invited to introduce you to its world of taste.

On July 9 and September 10, a very special treat awaits you: free oysters for every participant, in partnership with local producer Perles de Tamaris, for an even more gourmet immersion in the heart of the harbour.
