The program

Children become apprentice potters during a workshop held at the heart of the Olbia archaeological site.

They learn about the use of oil lamps in ancient times, observe the techniques used to make them, and create their own lamp. The workshop combines cultural heritage exploration, hands-on activities, and an educational approach tailored to children ages 6 and up.

Our tips

• Be sure to bring your swimsuit, mask, and snorkel to discover Olbia’s underwater archaeological site and explore the submerged ruins on your own.
• Continue exploring Hyères’ heritage with a visit to the École des Chevaliers, in the heart of the old town.
