The event
The Toulon & Region Music Festival invites you to an original evening combining music, history, and visual art at Fort Lamalgue.
Starting at 8:30 p.m., the French Navy Band will open the evening with a program of original works celebrating the maritime world and the traditions of the French Navy.
At 9 p.m., a grand historical epic tracing 400 years of maritime history takes center stage. Archival footage, narration, and original music come together to bring the defining moments of this epic saga to life. The narrative, written by students at the Naval Academy, is accompanied by a visual montage created by students from the UFR Ingémédia at the University of Toulon.
The production is accompanied by an original score composed for the occasion by Alexandre Kosmicki, head of the French Navy Band, offering the audience an immersive experience where memory, heritage, and emotion come together.
