Villa Carmignac - Exhibition 2026 - Sea, pop and sun
The Fondation Carmignac presents the exhibition "Sea, Pop and Sun" at the Villa Carmignac.
From 04/25 to 01/11/2026 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends from 10am. April, May and June: 10 am to 6 pm (last admission 4 pm to 4:30 pm) July and August: 10am to 7pm (last admission 5pm-5.30pm) Nocturne Thursdays until 10pm (last admission 8-8:30pm) September, October and November: 10 am to 6 pm (last admission 4 pm to 4.30 pm). A tour in French Sign Language will take place at 11am on Saturday, October 10 and Saturday, May 30. Expected duration: 1h30 to 2h. The combined ticket for admission and guided tour is €11 per person.

The Fondation Carmignac presents Sea, Pop & Sun, a dazzling ode to the freedom and vitality of the 1960s and 1970s, through the invocation of the Pop spirit. At the Villa Carmignac, nestled between the pines and the sea, a solar, sensual and soaring Pop Art unfolds that continues to radiate its electric, playful energy to this day. Curated by Dieter Buchhart and Anna Karina Hofbauer.
Around the Villa, you'll also find a garden with the "Remarkable Garden" label, designed as a "non-garden" and conceived as a space of preserved nature. Here, balance is sought through subtraction and protection, allowing pioneering and endemic plants to flourish, from rockroses to Hyères lavender, as well as rarer species such as flax broom and serapias, among the most delicate orchids. Artists from all over the world were selected to create works inspired by the spirit of the place. They each spent time on the island of Porquerolles, soaking up its atmosphere and imagining sculptures that resonate with the Villa.
