La Ferme des Olivades
Ollioules
A market-garden farm in a peri-urban area, Ferme des Olivades is a major AMAP in Toulon. Situated between the towns of Toulon to the east, Ollioules to the west and La Seyne S/Mer to the south, it is now a green lung in the middle of a commercial zone.
AMAP des Olivades restaurants and partners:
La ferme des Olivades, France's first AMAP, contributes to the installation of young farmers in AMAP and peasant agriculture.
Projects are linked to schools: class visits, raising awareness of quality crops, partnership with the Lycée LANGEVIN for the past 5 years, where the head chef is highly motivated; however, it remains very difficult to involve other high schools.
AMAP des Olivades partner restaurants: the restaurant at Golf Dolce Frégate between St-Cyr and Bandol takes 35 baskets, and 2 other Bandol restaurants are committed to the AMAP (Chipotte and Auberge du Port).
Restaurants account for 33% of baskets - they share the AMAP's concerns and difficulties; they are delivered with the same baskets as the amapiens (who account for 67% of shares).
Distributions on Mondays and Thursdays, from 5pm to 7pm.
