Les Tréteaux Festival: Family Night – Performance: "Cultivating the Unexpected (or the Art of Encounter)" – Cie La Tendre (S)
The show is a poetic ramble in three acts centered on the theme of “living together.” “Cultivating the Unexpected” is an ode to the simplicity of human connection, the passing of time, and a sense of community.
Saturday 1st of August 2026 between 9 pm and 10 pm.
Ticket price for the show: €10 (all ages) / Free for children under 12. A free shuttle bus departs from the Orlandi parking lot and City Hall one hour before each show to take you up to the Feudal Castle. A free return shuttle is also available after each show. Picnics are allowed on site starting at 7:00 PM every evening of the Festival (no drinks sold at the Château Féodal). Michaël Vessereau invites the audience to engage in a collective, pataphysical, magical, and theatrical reflection. “Cultivating the unexpected” means allowing oneself to be surprised by what one does not understand, by others, and by oneself. It also means savoring the simple pleasure of coming together around a card game… and a few miracles!
Les Tréteaux 2026 takes over the feudal castle of Ollioules with 7 outdoor performances: contemporary theater, improv, family shows, street theater, and magic. A friendly summer festival, accessible to all.
