Festival Les Tréteaux : Soirée spéciale en partenariat avec Châteauvallon
Les Tréteaux 2026 take over the feudal castle of Ollioules with 7 open-air shows: contemporary theater, improv, family shows, street theater and magic. A friendly summer festival, accessible to all.
Thursday 16 July 2026 from 7 pm and from 10 pm. At 7 p.m. at the Château Féodal in Ollioules: Mamés – Cie Cacho Fio. At 10 p.m. in Châteauvallon: Beauséjour – Cie Käfig by Mourad Merzouki.
"Special Package" for €30 (and €20 for children under 12) for both shows, including transportation between the two venues and back to downtown Ollioules. Free shuttle departing from the Orlandi parking lot and City Hall one hour before each show to take you up to the Feudal Castle. Free return shuttle also available after each show. Picnics are allowed on site starting at 7:00 PM every evening of the Festival (no drinks sold at the Feudal Castle). Here they are, here they come, the lifelong friends, hobbling into their village square. Marie-Louise, Alphonsine, and Berthe are coming back from the washhouse, laundry tubs under their arms, and transport the audience back to the 1900s. They are 90 years old, with a lifetime of hard work behind them and furrowed brows, but they bring with them the energy of the people of the land—frank and sunny. They call out to one another; their verve and humor win over the crowd, when suddenly, amid the collective enthusiasm, an idea strikes them.

When the body explores the passing of time. After circus, digital media, sports, the wind, or weightlessness, it is simply in the face of time rushing by—and challenging us—that the choreographer poses his questions.
