Getting around the Toulon area by bus or waterbus with the Réseau Mistral
Mistral network buses run in all the communes of the Toulon Provence Méditerranée metropolitan area, and maritime shuttles provide connections between Toulon, La Seyne-sur-Mer and Saint-Mandrier for the price of a bus ticket.
Find all information on routes and timetables on the Mistral network website.
Good to know: bus passes are on sale at Tourist Office offices.

Getting to the islands
Maritime shuttles offer crossings to the islands from several ports along the Provence Méditerranée coastline:
Getting around by cable car
Toulon’s cable car is the only one of its kind on the Mediterranean coast, taking you to the top of Mont Faron in just a few minutes to discover Europe’s most beautiful harbor.

Getting around by bike
Toulon Métropole is developing bicycle lanes to get around from Six-Fours-les-Plages to Hyères, via Toulon: consult the territory’s bicycle plan here. To better welcome cyclists, our Tourist Office has been awarded the ” Accueil Vélo” label by tourism professionals.
Getting around the Var region by bus with Zou
From Toulon bus station, the Zou coach company takes you to the main towns in the department and the region (with regional express lines).

Getting around by cab
Once you’re there, cab companies are on hand to take care of some of your connections from the airport or train stations, or to get you home after a restaurant or show.
