Our breeders and farmers offer a wide range of exceptional products combined with the flavors of Provence Méditerranée. Fresh shellfish and fish from the Bay of Tamaris, renowned AOC Côtes-de-Provence or Bandol wines, Var flowers, spirulina, snails, kiwis and strawberries, not forgetting the emblematic honey and olive oil. Meet these artisans of taste directly on their farms, in local produce stores or at markets.
The colors and scents of the markets
The colors, the smells, the singing accents of the stallholders and the sun-drenched fruits are the soul of Provence Méditerranée’s markets. You may be familiar with the most typical, the one on Cours Lafayette in Toulon, sung by Gilbert Bécaud. Take a stroll along the seafront in Six-Fours-les-Plages, in Hyères in the historic heart of the town, or at one of the local farmers’ markets. Black olives, bouquets of thyme and rosemary, orange blossom turnips: every day of the week has its own market.
Our advice
Most markets take place in the morning until 12pm, or even 1pm in summer. If you’re not available at these times, visit the farmers’ market in the Gare district of Ollioules on Mondays and Fridays from 5pm to 7pm. The guarantee of good products in a short circuit.
