An underwater site to discover from Almanarre beach
Camille supervises this safe aquatic tour. At a depth of less than 5 meters, you’ll discover theancient Roman trading post, and a little further on, thewreck of the Tartane. On the way back to shore, the paleo tombolo is home to a rich biodiversity. Whether you’re an archeological apprentice or simply a nature lover, this walk is a great way to discover nature and archeology with family, friends or loved ones.
Equipment provided: wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel. You’ll receive a briefing on safety instructions and how to proceed.
You’re ready to jump into the water! In a small group, for one hour, you’ll enjoy your instructor Camille’s commentary, while discovering, from the surface, the ancient buildings, fauna and flora of the Mediterranean.
You may come across an octopus or inhabitants hiding under rocks or in the posidonia. Open your eyes and discover the treasures of the Mediterranean Sea.
All slots are open to all, whatever your level of experience and physical ability, and are accessible to children and adults who know how to swim.
