Your guide will tell you all about the origins and adventures of this town, between sea and mountains, marked by invasions and epidemics. Stroll through the historic center, between Provençal architecture and Haussmann-style buildings, with stops at the cathedral, the fountains and the famous Cours Lafayette market. On your way to the Toulon naval base, an emblem of French naval power, your guide tells you the story of the floating bagne, mentioned by Victor Hugo in Les Misérables.
