Come and experience an unforgettable day on an old rigging, a 24-metre wooden sailing ship.

Daily outings are organized in July and August for a unique experience and a journey into the past. Enter another world, that of the sea, silence, sailing and, above all, conviviality. If you wish, Cedric will invite you to take part in the maneuvers.

Both rugged and rustic, the JLD’A is gentle and pleasant at sea. It combines comfort and safety for passengers. The large deck area is perfect for sunny siestas or watching the sailors maneuver. After sailing, the JLD’A drops anchor in a sheltered cove with crystal-clear waters, where you can swim, snorkel, kayak or simply relax and sunbathe!

Program for the day :

10:30 am: departure (sails set in Toulon’s small harbor). Opportunity to take part in maneuvers, and introduction to seamanship.
12:30 pm: anchorage in a sheltered cove. Swimming, rest.
1:00 pm: aperitif followed by lunch.
4:00 pm: departure from the cove and sailing back to Toulon (arrival in Toulon around 5:30 pm).

In short, this day aboard the JLD’A offers a complete and enriching experience, combining discovery, conviviality and immersion in the world of traditional sailing.

Practical informations

Boarding: opposite Toulon town hall, with safety instructions.
The boat has been awarded the historic label “Bateau d’Intérêt Patrimonial” (Boat of Heritage Interest) by the President of Patrimoine Maritime et Fluvial (Ministry of the Sea), Gérard d’Aboville and the Foundation.
Price includes hot and cold drinks, aperitif, coffee and snack. Lunch is not included.
The service provider supplies 2 sea kayaks, flippers, mask and snorkel kits, and bathing French fries.
