An incomparable experience
Enter an artistic odyssey where the soul is carried away by art and nature. Under a roof of glass and water, the works of art blend into the scenery as the elements change. In this way, 2,000 square metres of exhibition space become the theater of human creativity.
A dialogue between art and nature
Surrounding the foundation, a 15-hectare park, designed by landscape architect Louis Benech, is home to some fifteen sculptures resulting from specific commissions or artist residencies on the island. They all aim to be a link between the surrounding nature and the Villa that houses the Foundation.
Throughout its opening season, the Fondation Carmignac offers a wide range of cultural and artistic activities, including open-air cinema screenings and creative workshops. The foundation is also behind the Prix Carmignac of photojournalism.
Gourmet break in the pine forest
To extend the pleasure of your visit, why not try the restaurant Le Poisson ivre or the refreshment bar L’Oliveraie. A subtle blend of Mediterranean flavours and fresh local produce, the menu changes with the seasons and the chefs’ inspirations. The privileged location of the restaurant, under the tall pine trees, is a showcase for its friendly atmosphere.

The 2025 exhibition
In early 2025, the foundation will unveil its new exhibition and open its ticket office in February. The 2025 exhibition will be open from April to November.

How do I get to the Fondation Carmignac?
The island of Porquerolles is accessible by boat, and visitors can get around on foot or by bike. Villa Carmignac is located on the Courtade site, 10 minutes’ walk from the port and village.
