La Pineta, meaning "the pine forest" in Italian, is our vacation home located right under the pine trees of La Capte, on Avenue de la Badine, and just a few steps from the beach....
The beach life was a dream... Ever since flip-flops replaced city shoes and sand found its way into the house, life has become so much sweeter. Is it the morning awakening of the flamingos, the ritual of sunrise coffee on the beach just 100 meters from home, the endless stream of books devoured on lounge chairs in a half-asleep state, or perhaps the serenity of being nestled under the pine forest, indulging in the rhythm of swim breaks and repeating it all every day without ever getting tired of it...
