Santons Dalmas

Hello, I am Camille Dalmas, a santon maker from Six Fours les Plages, in the Var. My workshop, Atelier Dalmas, is a family business founded several generations ago by my grandfather, Georges Dalmas.

I am passionate about creating high quality santons in the purest Provencal tradition. All my creations are handmade with clay and terracotta, and I am very attentive to the details to give life to each character.

I find my inspiration in the landscapes and old villages as well as in the daily life in Provence of yesterday and today, creating realistic scenes and characters. I also enjoy creating original santons, varying the style and creating unique pieces that reflect my creativity.

I believe that santons are much more than just Christmas figurines. They are a part of our heritage and culture, and they allow us to pass on Provencal traditions and values through the generations. By creating quality santons for collectors and art lovers, I am proud to contribute to this heritage.
