My name is Delphine, creator of the deL-sAn brand: an art craftsman specialising in textiles and passionate about Japan.
Why deL-sAn?
It's my name in Japanese: del for delphine and san for people in Japanese.
I created the logo with the principle of a "hanko", a stamp used in Japan as a signature.
With a background in interior architecture and furniture design, I worked for 15 years in the service industry.
Then I started my creative activity in 2015, making cushions for decoration projects. Unique pieces or small series, whose particularity is the composition of materials, the mix of fabrics.
Since 2019, and especially since my move to the Var in 2021, I have been developing customised creations, second-hand clothes. An approach that allows me to enhance already existing elements: upcycling, or overcycling.
I create patterns and designs completely by hand with the textile paint Sétacolor from Pébéo.
I also offer custom-made creations, on order, to transform a garment and personalise it.
