With Merak – Balkan Block Party, the party takes to the streets as its playground and invites everyone to join the circle. Brass instruments, percussion, hip-hop dance, and Balkan music come together to create a grand, joyful, and lively collective journey.

Born out of musical friendships and a shared love for concerts that spill out into the crowd, Merak transforms public spaces into open-air neighborhood parties. Eleven musicians form an acoustic ensemble fueled by contemporary Gypsy music and hip-hop energy, while a crew of five dancers gets the crowd moving. Here, the audience isn’t just invited to watch: they can join in the dance, sing, laugh, respond, and play their part. A generous, popular, and vibrant block party, where music brings bodies together and gets the square moving.
The event takes place at Parc de La Navale in the Espace Convivialité.
