The laureates of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation, backed by the unfailing support of the cellist and patron of La Vague Classique, will enchant the first part of this remarkable recital.
These two exceptional sonatas from the chamber music repertoire are pure delight: the celebrated César Franck sonata and the monumental Rachmaninov sonata, with its irresistible, tender and spirited outbursts. In the second half, Gautier Capuçon - accompanied by his faithful partner Jérôme Ducros - will unveil Gaïa, an album inspired by the cellist's Savoyard roots: a musical tribute to nature, Savoie and his origins.
