Fred Teppe's burlesque juggling solo, in the spirit of Jacques Tati, creates an offbeat, poetic universe in which he manipulates everyday objects diverted from their original function: a magic stool on which balls bounce before disappearing. A clothesline rebels to become a disjointed bird. Boxes of potato chips with unlikely contents. An inveterate gourmand, and a veritable Chips'chopathe, he devours his potato chips by the boxful throughout the show. This tender, naive character tries, as best he can, to put on a "good face" in this universe worthy of Pierre Etaix's best films.
