Les Fleurs du mal" exhibition
The Musée de la fleur d'Ollioules presents an original exhibition by artists Pierre Beloüin and Stéphane Margolis, based on a free, contemporary inspiration from Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du mal.
From 15/11/2025 to 31/01/2026 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Free access.
4 rue de la Tour - 83190 Ollioules
Through floral installations, photographs and sound objects, the two artists explore the connections between nature, memory and poetry. Pierre Beloüin, whose work blends visual and sound arts, proposes a filmic work in which flowers - fresh, artificial or ceramic - evoke the cycles of life and family roots. Stéphane Margolis presents plant and photographic compositions inspired by his travels and his attachment to the Mediterranean floral world.
The exhibition also takes in the museum's permanent collections, with artistic interventions in the display cases and on the walls, as well as two plant installations in the Observantins convent.
A singular artistic encounter, where Baudelaire's strangeness is translated into visual and sensory forms, between spleen, exoticism and unexpected beauty.
