The town of Ollioules presents an exhibition of works by A. Robert Vernet (1931-2018), painter of Nature, "Energies Méditerranéennes".
From 16/06 to 28/06/2026 on Tuesday between 2 pm and 7 pm. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 1 pm and between 2 pm and 7 pm. Opening on Friday June 19th at 6pm.

The works presented, paintings and pastels, express the energies that animate Var nature. Robert Vernet turned to painting when he moved to the Var in 1990, after having been a sculptor (2nd Prix de Rome in 1958) and drawing teacher at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Marseille.
He wanted to break away from the representation of the physical world to express the invisible energy that animates and links beings and all things in the universe. The infinite palette of colors enabled him to sensitively translate the energies of nature in the light of the Midi.
