Beauséjour is a choreographic creation by Mourad Merzouki that brings together dancers of all ages in an encounter full of humor, emotion and vitality, with a sound score by Müller & Makaroff (Gotan Project).

Between electro-tango music and hip-hop dance, this show becomes the terrain for an astonishing dialogue in which generations challenge and respond to each other, and end up celebrating the passing of time together.
Beauty is not limited to young, slender, athletic bodies. It is also revealed in slowed steps, marked silhouettes and wrinkles. Mourad Merzouki has observed this in the dancers of his generation. All of them are no longer seeking physical prowess, but a different, more subtle, more poetic aesthetic. In Beauséjour, he imagines a quirky choreography to celebrate the diversity of the body's beauty.
