Never really pigeonholed, muse to filmmakers who ultimately sacrificed everything to the animal cause, Brigitte Bardot is a free woman who is undoubtedly misunderstood. This documentary looks back at the contradictory aspects of her life, from her legendary artistic career to her famous foundation. She shook up the image of women, and was ahead of the curve in terms of ecological awareness and animal welfare, which at last seem self-evident to everyone.
