Wood-fired Cade

Toulon

Since 1988, we have been preserving a unique family know-how: crafting and selling CADE, a traditional specialty made from chickpea flour. A delicious artisanal tradition passed down through generations.

CADE is a traditional culinary specialty from the south of France, particularly from the Toulon region. This golden, soft flatbread made from chickpea flour is the Provençal cousin of the Nice-style socca. It is best enjoyed hot—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—often simply seasoned with salt.
Since 1988, our family has been preserving this artisanal know-how with passion and dedication. From generation to generation, we have worked with this simple yet demanding recipe, respecting tradition while adding our own personal touch. For us, CADE is much more than a product: it's a story of family, heritage, and transmission.
