Walking trail : Le sentier de découverte Jean François Jubé
The trail set up by the town and rehabilitated by the district area aims at the preservation and valorization of the natural heritage. It starts in front of the entry of the Museum of the Mine of Cap Garonne.
The circuit, set up by the municipality and rehabilitated by the metropolis, aims to conserve and enhance the natural heritage. It starts in front of the entrance to the Cap Garonne mine. Through the information panels and orientation tables, you will discover the diversity and richness of this site as well as the built heritage that dates from the exploitation of the mine. You will understand, for example, the type of vegetation that has developed on the scree of the mine, how the forest is evolving, and how copper mining was organised.
Please note that from 1 June to 30 September, access to forest areas exposed to the risk of forest fires is regulated. The circulation of people, the circulation and parking of vehicles in the massifs are regulated. Tel: Var Prefecture: 04 89 96 43 43
