Var Lamas
Visit a llama breeding center, discover and get to know the llamas. Get up close to the llamas in the intimacy of the herd, brush them, walk them and take part in a wool workshop and leave with your own creation.
VISIT TO A LLAMA BREEDING CENTER
The llama has contributed to the wealth of South America, and seduced North America. Today, they're conquering Europe. From the Andes to the Var, a journey of millions of years.
All year round (Monday to Sunday - by appointment only), the farm offers "Discovering and learning about llamas" tours. Visits are made with the breeder, who will take you through several workshops in contact with the llamas. The tour begins with an educational session, followed by a llama brushing workshop, then an introduction to trekking on a specially adapted trail, and to finish, a workshop to create Made in Var llama wool for you to take home.
Var Lamas is a wool farm. You'll find a souvenir store with hand-made creations and llama dung-based fertilizers for your plants.
