Tour of the western tip of the Presqu'île de Giens
A sporting loop that follows the coastline to take in all the richness of the landscape surrounding the Giens peninsula.
Start the walk at the parking lot near the Olbia campsite and follow the signs for the coastal path.
At the first crow's-foot, turn left, staying on the main path. After enjoying an unobstructed view of the Ile de la Redonne, continue along the path and, at the first intersection, turn right, following the yellow coastal path.
After passing the île longue and the bunkers, turn right following the coastal path sign into the undergrowth.
At the next crossroads, head for La Darboussière. At the next crossroads, follow the yellow signs straight ahead. After an uphill climb, you come to a level track. Turn right to the Escampo-Bariou sign.
Follow signs for La Darboussière. A return trip below is possible to observe the old lighthouse and a remarkable view of the Pointe du Rabat. At the second sign of the same name, leave the direction of La Darboussière and take the sports route on the right.
At the pointe de Rabat, descend to the small cove and continue towards la Darboussière. Reach the beach and climb back up to Darboussière over the rocks.
Once at the beach, at the large coastal path sign, leave the path and head left towards the parking area. When you reach the main road, turn left and follow the Madrague harbour back to the starting point.
