The National Naval Museum
A true memory of the Arsenal, the National Museum of the Navy in Toulon recalls the place of the Navy in this war harbour and illustrates it with an exceptional collection of models ships.

This museum of art and history also evokes the maritime life in Toulon from the 18th century to the present day, the history of the arsenal, shipbuilding, the galleys and the prison and the evolution of boats in the Mediterranean from the 17th century to the present day through models, plans-reliefs, paintings, sculptures and navigational instruments.
FLASH TOURS / Every Sunday at 11:30am. Free. No reservation.
In 20 minutes, a mediator of the museum tells you a work or a thematic space of the museum : the port of Toulon seen by Joseph Vernet, the royal corderie of Toulon, life on board in the eighteenth century, the submarines, the Charles-de-Gaulle aircraft carrier, the galleys and the prison…
