Spirulina de Provence is guaranteed free of GMOs, pesticides, additives and preservatives. It is dried at low temperatures, giving it exceptional quality. Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a microscopic algae of the blue-green family (cyanophyceae). It has been growing naturally on Earth for nearly 3.5 billion years. Today, it is found in inter-tropical zones in shallow salt lakes, rich in carbonates and trace elements.
