Place Amiral Sénes

Toulon

In 1615, one of the first four wash fountains was built on Place Notre-Dame, now Victor Sénès. It was followed by another fountain, which was donated to the village of Le Revest.

In 1820, a basin topped by an upside-down urn was installed on the freed-up space, creating a bulbous fountain fed by the shaft. The barrels are adorned with beautifully crafted mascarons.
