Old salt marshes nature area
The Espace Nature lets you discover the site's rich natural and cultural heritage. Discover the museographic space with temporary and permanent exhibitions, bird models and other educational tools.

A discovery trail has been set up at the Vieux Salins to provide information on the flora, fauna, hydraulic management and history of the sites, as well as a temporary art exhibition. With free access during opening hours, you can walk or cycle along this trail, known as the "levée de Saint-Nicolas", for around 1,300 m through the heart of the salt marshes. At the end of this stroll, discover the Espace Nature, which welcomes you throughout the seasons with its many permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as appropriate educational tools and aids.
Guided birdwatching tours are also scheduled throughout the year. Further information and reservations are available from the Tourist Office.
For groups of 6 to 15 people, personalized tours are available by reservation only.
