Matteri vineyard

The Matteri Estate, a living ampelographic conservatory unique in Provence, serves as a laboratory for bio-regenerative viticulture and implements practices across nearly 50 hectares aimed at restoring the soil and bringing out the authentic expression of Mediterranean terroirs.

At the crossroads of coastal and Var mountain influences, the estate cultivates a rare mosaic of soils—schist, clay-limestone, and silt—as well as rare heritage grape varieties—Mourvaison, Rousseli, Tibouren, and Aubun—that give rise to precise, balanced wines deeply rooted in their place of origin.

While the rosés express all the freshness and finesse of Provence, the whites and reds reveal the richness and complexity of these unique terroirs. A signature defined by this unique collection of grape varieties, blending iconic varieties, forgotten heritage varieties, and expertise.
