Le Volatil - Manufacture artistique
Le Volatil is a collective place of artistic production in Toulon. It was born in 2017 at the initiative of choreographer Romain Bertet. It aims to share artistic creation with the greatest number.
Le Volatil is a free reception area in residence for companies. It provides a work platform with a technical park and a workshop. It also offers accommodation on site for two people facilitating the reception of companies outside the region.
Le Volatil is a multidisciplinary space. The artists who come to work there are in the fields of dance, theatre, music, writing, puppetry, clown or visual arts.
Le Volatil is a collective space. The choice of companies is made by a college of artists (the Volatil collective). We are however careful to maintain a plurality of disciplines, and to give preference to a reception of regional companies.
Le Volatil is a well-known place. We now receive more than 200 applications every semester for about 20 weeks of residency.
