Le Langoustier black beach

Hyères

Sheltered from the winds, the black Langoustier beach is the least known of the Porquerolles beaches. And yet...

On the southern side of the isthmus, the blackish sand and gravel owe their color to the slag dumped in the 19th century by the old soda factory. And even if the image of the idyllic beach remains white sand and transparent waters, it's still one of the most pleasant. It's protected slightly from the mistral and completely from the easterly wind.
Don't forget that you're in the heart of the National Park, and you'll need to be particularly vigilant to ensure that the island and its seabed remain unspoiled.

Reminder: "From 19/06 to 20/09, access to forest areas in the Var is regulated to prevent the risk of fire. For further information: https://www.risque-prevention-incendie.fr/var/
