La Mer Autrement
Fully accessible beach with relaxation area (deckchairs, refreshment bar, beach games) and activities (paddle, kayaking, snorkeling...). Reservations by e-mail required to use facilities and activities. Annual or monthly membership required.
La Mer Autrement, a 100% accessible site located on the Vignette beach within the Renée Sabran hospital complex, aims to be a quiet space adapted to people with disabilities. The public, patients and staff of the Renée Sabran hospital and patients from other hospitals in the area are all welcome to visit this site, the only one of its kind in Europe. The aim is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy the benefits of the beach by helping them get into the water and taking part in the many adapted water and land-based activities on offer.
