Domaine du Clos Lamalgue

Since the late 19th century, the production of vin de Tibourin and vin vieux de Sainte Marguerite has linked the destiny of Domaine du Clos Lamalgue to that of the vine.
Situated between the Mediterranean and Mont Faron, this hillside surrounded by the city of Toulon sun-drenched three-hectare estate proudly resists the pressure of real estate development.
It owes its survival to the perseverance of the Monges family, who acquired it in 1930.

The tradition has been carried on with the same enthusiasm for three generations; the fourth is already following in the grandfather's footsteps.
A lover of the land, Jean Claude Monges breathed new life into the estate and marketed his first cuvée in 1992, helping to maintain this island of greenery in the heart of the city.

Today, his 2 sons René and Philippe have taken up the torch.
