Coastal path hike - Ile des Embiez

Six-Fours-les-Plages

A few turns of propellers of the container, you will join the island of Embiez where a mosaic of landscapes of a striking diversity awaits you.

1. DEPARTURE: From the port take the direction of the beach of Salins and then the north-western tip of the island. You will discover a Mediterranean vegetation consisting of palm trees, pines, oleander and tamarisk trees that bloom in delicate shades of pinkish white in summer.

2. You will reach the former Fort Saint-Pierre which houses the aquarium of the Paul Ricard Institute of Oceanography.

3. You can continue your stroll to Cougoussa Point (as some people call it) where there is an old Marine Tower. From this highest peak (62m) an exceptional panorama from Marseille to Toulon awaits you.

4. You will return to the landing stage by going around the vineyards of Les Embiez which produce rosé, white and red wine. The first vines were planted in 1922.

5. You will take the boat back to the landing stage in the direction of the port of Le Brusc.
