This magnificent garden, laid out by Olbius Hippolyte Antoine Riquier, became the property of the town of Hyères in 1868. Covering an area of 7 hectares, just a few minutes from the town center, this extraordinary garden was then an annex of the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris.
A shady place to stroll, you'll enjoy strolling by its pond or waterfall, crossing small bridges and enjoying its fragrant flowerbeds.
In addition to the botanical garden and its paths, its exotic greenhouse is home to numerous tropical species: palms, bamboos, banana trees, cacti, agaves, hibiscus... You'll also discover the presence of beautiful and curious birds in the aviary and even peacocks, which roam freely around the park, much to the delight of children.
On site: children's games, miniature train, pony rides, refreshment bar, riding arena, tennis court. Open daily, free admission.

Some of the grilles have protrusions of more than 2cm, which can impede the movement of people with motor disabilities. Two areas are accessible only by stairs. The rest of the park is accessible. Adapted toilets. One of the little train's carriages is accessible to wheelchair users.
