Alexander 1st Garden
Located in the heart of the city center, it is an integral part of the new Chalucet Creativity and Knowledge district, which includes the media library, the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Kedge and Camondo schools.

Expanded by 5,000 m², this veritable green lung now covers 20,000 m², with 350 trees, 5,000 Mediterranean species and 350 aquatic plants. The completely redesigned promenade is punctuated by water staircases and ornamental ponds, creating islands of freshness. Walkers, students and media library users can stroll along and enjoy the seats, benches and large wooden tables provided.
Perfectly accessible to people with reduced mobility, this haven of greenery also has several entrances (to the south, east and west), play areas for the little ones and a dog park.
The bandstand has also been refurbished and embellished, the fish pond restored and the historical heritage enhanced.
And for those wishing to learn a little more about the site, the pathways are now lined with historical totems, plant description panels and (for connected users) QR codes along the themed gardens.
Leashed dogs welcome.
