Like many men, Quentin always puts off the work Lisa asks him to do. Until one day, he comes home from work to find Lisa's ex-boyfriend Victor repainting the bedroom.
At first, Quentin doesn't take kindly to this intrusion, which worries him and disrupts his cushy life. All the more so as Victor, a bachelor who has never settled down, boasts a string of conquests. A good-natured raconteur, he shares his views and theories on women with Quentin, a homebody stuck in a monotonous married life.
So much so that, despite their differences, the two men become accomplices, which, in the end, doesn't help Lisa at all.
