The activity

During this workshop, children learn how sports were practiced in ancient times. They explore the venues used for competitions, the daily lives of athletes, and the various sports of the era.

Through a board game, they follow the journeys of characters inspired by the ancient world and explore the role that athletes and gladiators played in society.

The activity also provides a fun and educational way to explore the issue of women’s participation in ancient sports.
