Hourvari refers to an animal trick: that of game returning to its tracks to deceive the hounds. By extension, it signifies uproar, storm or chaos. In naming this initiatory tale, Marie Molliens affirms the rebellious nature of a circus freed from convention. A story of disobedience, Hourvari takes us on an encounter with spectral clowns in a world of biffing paths, deceptive vanishing lines and artists of a thousand and one metamorphoses.
