Our Tourist Office<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Created in 2017, when tourism competence was transferred to the Toulon Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e Metropolis (TPM), the Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e Tourist Office brings together the 12 towns that make up the metropolis: Carqueiranne<\/a>, La Crau<\/a>, La Garde<\/a>, Hy\u00e8res<\/a>, Ollioules<\/a>, Le Pradet<\/a>,Le Revest-les-Eaux<\/a>, Saint-Mandrier-sur Mer<\/a>, La Seyne-sur-Mer<\/a>, Six-Fours-les-Plages<\/a>, Toulon<\/a>, La Valette-du-Var<\/a>
Six of these are “stations class\u00e9es de tourisme<\/strong>“: Toulon, Hy\u00e8res, Six-Fours-les-Plages, La Seyne-sur-Mer, Carqueiranne and Le Pradet.

The Board of Directors<\/strong>
It comprises 56 members, including 31 elected representatives from the Metropolitan area’s municipalities, 25 socio-professionals representing the tourism industry and 25 deputy socio-professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e Tourism Board is a Public Industrial and Commercial Institution (EPIC), with a team of 86 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees dedicated to promoting economic and tourism development in the metropolitan area. Its projected budget for 2026 is set at 8 M\u20ac.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Communication department<\/summary>\n

To be the guarantor of the region’s tourism image and all messages sent out to its customers.<\/em>

The department manages the web and social networking services, publishing, promotion and corporate communications.

Marketing and Sales Department<\/summary>\n

Create and propose a range of activities to discover the region, corresponding to visitors’ expectations and reflecting the values and identity of Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/em>

The department is responsible for marketing individual leisure services, guided tours and groups, advertising and boutique products.

Industry Division<\/summary>\n

Structuring high-stake business sectors for the region by supporting professionals and qualifying the offer.<\/em>

Wine tourism, gastronomy, cycling, hiking, water sports, diving and accessibility… The sectors department works to promote the emblematic sectors of our destination, and to develop the activities that visitors love.

Professional Relations Department<\/summary>\n

Respond to the needs of professionals by providing support, encouraging meetings and involving them as players in the development of our strategies and action plans.<\/em>

The department’s aim is to involve metropolitan tourism professionals in the action plan, and to enhance, promote and unite them. It also covers the classification of furnished tourist accommodation.

Hospitality Department<\/summary>\n

To ensure that visitors feel welcome at their various points of arrival, and have all the information they need for their stay.<\/em>
The department brings together and coordinates the 11 permanent offices, as well as the seasonal offices open during the summer months, and manages the “off-site” reception facilities set up for major events (events, conventions, etc.) or to welcome cruise ship passengers on port calls, and the layout of the stores. It works to welcome visitors at every point in the region (accommodation, cultural sites, arrival points).

Support Functions Department<\/summary>\n

Facilitate and optimize the implementation of the operational departments’ action plans in the areas of administration, budgeting, finance and human resources.<\/em>
Human resources, budget management, accounting, procurement and logistics are all part of this department.
